There are many reasons to love Canyon Lake but here are the top three reasons why: The Amenities There are many elements of comfort and convenience available to residents of Canyon Lake. Happy Camp campground provides access to docks for boating, fishing, swimming, picnic areas and Wifi connectivity. Do you need a place to board your horses? The Equestrian Center is an exclusive boarding facility for POA members. Don't have a horse? You are still welcome to walk the grounds and watch the horses in the arena.  As the days get hotter, CL residents can head to the many beaches to cool off, bbq and just hang out with family and friends. Personally speaking, it's an awesome place to watch the sun sets. Another great place to chill out is at the recently renovated pool. Do you know that they offer swimming lesson during summer time (except this year due to COVID19)?  You can take your kids to the many parks and playgrounds to burn all that energy and keep your sanity (I would know.....

Can you fish in Canyon Lake? The answer is yes. Fishing is another reason to love living in Canyon Lake. With 500 acres of water, this well-stocked lake has a reputation as one of the best fishing lakes in the area. Crappies, bluegills, red ear sunfish, catfish and bass are among the resident fishes of the lake. You can be sure to find a good fishing spot when living in the lake but be sure to keep this few reminders when fishing.  Fishing License Required: Be sure to have your California State fishing license with you at all times. Community Patrol and/or Marine Patrol will check for permits and compliance of fishing rules. Canyon Lake is one of the coolest place to live in in Southern California and it's only right that they have multiple parks for you and your fur baby to enjoy. However, with great pets comes with great responsibility. The Canyon Lake POA's Rules & Regulations states that all dogs must be on a leash or confined within an owner's property at all times.
